We join Phorms Frankfurt in celebrating its recognition as a “Digital School” by the national initiative“MINT Zukunft schaffen”!

This recognition complements the school’s existing designation as a “STEM-Friendly School” and places it among the ranks of other Phorms schools that have been honored for their commitment to digital education.

Why Digital Education Is Crucial

Digital skills have long been considered basic competencies on par with reading, writing, and arithmetic. Schools therefore have a responsibility to prepare children for a digital world from an early age. In addition to technology, this also involves media literacy, critical thinking, creativity, and independence.

How We Put Digital Education into Practice

This award is both a valuable recognition and an incentive to continue steadfastly on this path. Phorms Frankfurt and our other locations focus on:

• Interactive smartboards or SMART displays in all classrooms
• The regular use of laptops and tablets starting in 5th grade, e.g., for research, presentations, or collaborative projects
• Cross-curricular integration of digital media, not just in computer science classes
• Regular professional development for teachers on digitalization, media education, and AI in everyday teaching
