At the end of May we received a visit from alumni students who had been at H.I.S. in 2007-09. Alex and Anna Thorne were in Early Primary 1 and 2 and even experienced the move from our former home (the Pierre et Marie Curie School building) into the current building. After completing their studies, Anna at Purdue University and Alex at the Texas Christian University, they were touring Germany with their parents Kristin and David. There were some things that looked the same and parts of the building that had changed over time, but the memories came flooding back as we toured the current school. A few staff faces were recognisable from that far back in time, although none of them had aged at all!
 

We wish the Thorne Family all the best in the future and perhaps our paths will cross again.
