Your Responsibilities

  • Educational, organizational, and disciplinary management of the high school, reporting to the overall school management
  • Designing and ensuring educational quality in the high school
  • Leadership, motivation, and development of the German- and English-speaking secondary team, as well as active participation in personnel recruitment
  • Analysis, evaluation, and further development of teaching in accordance with pedagogical findings
  • Implementation and evaluation of data- and AI-supported learning assessments
  • Close cooperation with the overall school management, the local management team, school committees, supervisory authorities, and extracurricular partners
  • Constructive and trusting cooperation with the works council in accordance with the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG)

Your Profile

  • A personality characterized by empathy, strong decision-making and motivational skills, and team orientation
  • Qualification to teach at secondary schools or a comparable teaching qualification recognized by the Hessian school authority
  • Expertise and experience in curriculum development and quality assurance in the field of school development
  • Experience in managing a secondary school or as a deputy head teacher
  • In-depth knowledge of personnel management and school administration
  • Understanding of the legal and organizational framework for alternative schools
  • Team-oriented and motivating leadership style
  • Openness to innovation and enjoyment of international cooperation
  • Very good German (at least C1) and fluent English skills and enthusiasm for bilingual learning

About Us

Our bilingual Phorms School Frankfurt has two locations in the Frankfurt metropolitan area where we educate students from nursery through to secondary school. At our family-friendly Phorms Taunus Campus in Steinbach, which is surrounded by nature, we provide access to German- English language acquisition for around 700 children and young people, beginning in nursery, using the immersion method. Our Phorms Frankfurt Taunus Campus distinguishes itself with its diverse and international community. Our pedagogical team within the nursery, primary school with reception and secondary school supports our students in growing up to be independent, open-minded and globally minded young people. Phorms Frankfurt is part of the Phorms Education SE network of bilingual schools and nurseries, which has been enriching the educational landscape in Germany since 2006.

  • How can I apply and what documents should I include with my application?

    The easiest way to apply is directly through our careers page. Simply click the “Apply Now” button for the job advertisement that interests you and fill out the form. You can upload your CV as well as a motivational letter and relevant certificates there. Please submit your application online only.
