Your Responsibilities

  • Head of the Arts Department and Special Assignments
  • Leadership and professional development of teaching staff in the enrichment subjects (Art, Music, Physical Education)
  • First point of contact for our Assistant Teachers
  • Advancement and development of the international profile of the JSS College
  • Coordination of the academic, athletic, and language-focused afternoon programmes at JSS College
  • Planning and execution of school events (e. g. musical productions, art exhibitions, charity night, spring ball, sports events)
  • Coordination of student fairs and exhibition appearances representing the JSS College
  • Development of an overall concept for the visual presentation of our school building (student project exhibitions, artwork, visual representation of subject departments)

Your Profile

  • Leadership experience and/or graduate/participant of an educational leadership training programmes (e. g. Phorms Talent Programme)
  • Native-level English proficiency and German skills at B2/C1 level, along with strong communication skills
  • Teaching qualification for upper secondary level (Sekundarstufe II)
  • Strong team spirit and enthusiasm for working in a multicultural environment
  • Teaching experience abroad or at international schools
  • Solid knowledge of the Baden-Württemberg “Abitur” and ideally an additional international school-leaving qualification
  • Willingness to become familiar with upper secondary school administration
