Sushi making

Datum:
Campus Hamburg

Gymnasium students created their own sushi rolls using ingredients chosen from the following: paprika, ham, spring onions, avocado, cucumber, tuna, carrot, and crispy onion.

Two students wrote up a short summary of how we made the sushi (see picture 1).

Although these are not all traditional sushi ingredients as eaten by Japanese people, the rolls proved to be most tasty and quite healthy.

Students were asked to focus on the quality of presentation as much as taste. Results were… mixed.

The sushi was served with tradition Japanese gari (ginger) and shouyu (soy sauce).
